TNR Updates

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a good week so far, mine has been very productive with school – I am taking an amazing online Spanish class -, going through some books I’ve been meaning to read, and getting some things done around the house. If you follow us on Twitch you will noticed I have taken a backseat with streaming for a while and there will be a message saying I’m on vacation until next month. I wanted to clarify some things on here and tell you about something you will find on our YouTube starting next month that I am very excited about. Before we get started, if you enjoy my articles I put out each month then make sure to subscribe to the blog so you will receive a notification anytime I upload a new post. Don’t worry, you won’t get spammed with a bunch of emails from me! ^_^ I know it has been a minute since I wrote on here, so before we get into the exciting news I have planned, I thought I should update you on all that is going on with TNR, especially our Twitch and YouTube channel.

Summer Vacation

I have been quarantined for four months now, Chris for three, and the anxiety was starting to get to me. Not only that, but my house has been a mess, books that I “intend to read” have been piling up, and with the lack of exercise and movement I have had the number on my scale has been rising. Why do I tell you this? Is it just to vent to someone other than those living under my roof? Maybe….yet I also have said in the past I want this community to be about honesty….and so that is what I intend to do. Yes, I could tell all of you that I am busy and other things have vowed for my attention. However, the fact of the matter is, I have wasted too much time watching television, not taking proper care of myself, and allowed the stress of everything to overwhelm me. It is for this reason I have decided to take a step back and give myself some much needed TLC. Since doing so the beginning of this month, I have found the stress diminishing, I have more joy, and I am getting back to – for the most part – keeping up with things around the house and taking care of my body….which I am sure my face and my waistline thanks me!

Call it “finally doing some self-care”, call it “being true to myself”, whatever you want to label it as, I am finally taking steps in the right direction to take care of me, so I can help people like you. Someone once told me that you can’t give out what you don’t have. If I am lacking in love for myself and my surroundings, I won’t be much good in loving others well. I know for some it was a delight to hop on and watch me play World of Warcraft, or just be “shooting the breeze” as my grams used to call it, but I promise this won’t be forever. Just for another month I am trying to catch up on my reading, making sure to dedicate some time to my schooling, and giving proper attention to not only my husband but to my health and well-being; whether that is physically, mentally, spiritually, or emotionally. I hope you all understand and will give me grace in this time. I want to come back to Twitch and our social media platforms stronger than ever so I can help more people learn what it means to enjoy life, and take time for the simple things such as family. This started out as a hodge-podge of articles regarding the adventures Chris and I would take, recipes I could share with others that are good and good for you, and a place to share my thoughts and faith. I’m not a religious person, I’m a follower of Jesus and I don’t want to just talk about how happy and fun my life is – because let’s be honest that is not a reality 24/7 -, I also want to discuss why I choose to find joy in the moments of life, whether they be big or small! So I hope you will stick around and bring along some friends to join the community. Next I am going to discuss a few things you can look forward to around the end of August.

Angie Reacts to….

So I have been doing some thinking, and a friend has been recommending it, and I have decided to start doing reactions to movies/shows, YT videos, and maybe eventually some songs on YouTube. If you have been paying close attention, you will notice there are a few on there right now, but I have decided at the end of August I would – consistently – upload 1 to 2 videos a week of my reacting to something. I was inspired by a guy on YouTube, well two actually, and then it was my friend who kept telling me about it that caused me to take the leap. I wanted to start sooner, however, with my dad’s health issues and us trying to help him with getting started on dialysis. I decided it would be wise to just do the reactions at the end of August. I am super excited and starting to build a collection of videos and such to react to. I hope you will check them out when I begin putting them on our channel. I also wanted to see if there would be a few of you who are interested in joining the tnr community and help me decide on the videos I make. I have decided to start a patreon at the end of the month for anyone willing to join the TNR fam and support me in making great content for yall. When you support me you will get to be a part of the following:

  • Pick what content will be shown on YT and eventually Twitch
  • Get a shout out at the end of the video
  • Get some amazing goodies as a thank you for being in the fam
  • Receive a personal zoom chat with Me(Angie) and have a one hour QnA session.

I am so excited to get back with yall at the end of August. I also hope this will be a time for you to enjoy your family and friends, or find something great that you enjoy or have always wanted to do and pursue it.

Look forward to chatting with you soon,

~ Angie Frantz ~

Coronacation: The Future of TNR

So for the last three days Chris and I – along with most of the nation/world – has been under a quarantine because of the corona virus, and I am also on a mandatory “spring break”. I have been doing good actually – except for an hour on Wednesday when I thought i was going to lose it because I had been staring at a screen for the past two days -, and I’ve been very productive! I cleaned my floors, did laundry, and have kept up with the dishes. Not to mention I have done a lot of streaming – in case you missed that -, and a few Facebook or Instagram live videos. This “break” has actually began to feel like a little vacation for me, a coronacation you might say? I realized this morning I hadn’t reached out to my blogging community and so that is why I am here. I know we all are trying to adjust to being home-bound – for the most part -, while for some not knowing how long this will last. I just found out today the state of Kansas said schools are going to be out for the rest of the year – not semester, year! Wow! A part of me doesn’t think I could handle being at home and limiting my outings for a whole year, but then another part says, “You are stronger than this, you can make it work!” I guess what I am trying to say is I feel you. For someone who has a history of anxiety, it is especially hard, but I am finding ways to cope. One of those being, I am writing to all of you and I am streaming. Not only is it making the process easier to deal with, I actually get to talk to other humans – regardless if it is over a screen or not!

So what does this quarantine mean for TNR? Well, honestly, as long as I can come on here during the week and for an hour on Saturday’s or Sunday’s, I will be hanging out with each of you and making content that brings you joy and peace. As Chris and I said before, TNR is designed to foster community and love – especially in the times we are living now! So will you help me? Will you reach out to those you know and tell them about our Twitch channel and the other social platforms we have so we can build this community? This has been my baby for a while now, and I’m glad my husband could step up and help, but my vision is to see TNR reach the world and brighten the lives of every person we meet. So if you’re with me, and you want to help me create amazing content that will grow our little space, then comment below with some suggestions you think would help. And remember, Chris and I love tabletop games, RPG and MMO games, fantasy/crime/fiction books, and scifi/ inspirational family friendly movies and shows. If you can think of anything within that demographic that would help bring in more people share your thoughts below or send us a message in the contact section. Thanks again for joining us on this journey and have a safe and beautiful day!

Happy Trails,

Angie

P.S. Not trying to make light of the situation with the term, “coronacation”, but if we can’t find something amusing about this situation, we might just crack!

We’re on Twitch!

Aside

Hello friends, I hope you have had a good week so far! I (Angie) wanted to hop on here and let you know a few things about our Twitch channel and remind you of our upcoming stream.

Stream pic

In case you missed it, we have our first video up on Twitch!! I did a dry run yesterday on Twitch to make sure I could figure out the setup and such for the platform, and decided to do an unboxing for my lady friends in TNR. You can go check it out here, and the YouTube videos are up as well in our unboxing playlist here.

#SITDOWNSUNDAY STREAM

Join us on March 15th, 2020 at 1 PM CST.  for our first sit down Sunday stream. Don’t forget to tell your friends and family, set a reminder, and remember to hop on because whatever we plan on doing, it is going to be a blast. Chris and I are excited to be relaxing with all of you and we look forward to your questions.

We have followers!!

Oh my word! Can you believe it? We have six (6) followers so far on our Twitch channel!!! How awesome is that? We hope after we have been on for a few months and people see our consistency they will link arms with us and become what we are considering calling roadies – the name is still up for discussion, lol – by subscribing to our channel. We hope if you haven’t done so already that you will hop on over to the channel and either follow, subscribe, or do both and help us foster community and love to others through our streams.

Well, that is all I have for today. I hope you have a good rest of your week. Look forward to chatting with you soon!

Happy Trails,

Angie

Countdown to our first livestream!

March Reboot 1

Wow! Can you believe March is here already? That’s insane! You know what I (Angie) also can’t believe? Two weeks from this past Sunday we will be doing our FIRST EVER LIVESTREAM!!!! Man, I don’t know about you but Chris and I are pretty excited! Who knows, if we hit 50 subs I might give something away from my makeup sub box or a book from one of my favorite authors! Anywho, I am getting side-tracked. Our first stream on Twitch will be March 15, 2020, at 1pm CST. We decided to get our feet wet by doing our Sit Down Sunday stream two times this month. Then once April rolls around, we plan on doing two Saturday streams and two Sunday streams. You can expect them to be in the mornings on Saturdays and afternoons on Sundays.

YouTube

What about YouTube?? Well, I have decided to make the Ambiance videos and lives on Thursdays and will be uploading them on Tuesdays. Along with this, you can expect the videos Chris and I did live on Sundays to be there as well. This way I am focusing most of my energy on creating content for the blogs, coming up with content for YouTube and Twitch, and still having time for my personal life.

Join the community

Here is where you come in. Chris and I need our followers on here, and our friends and family to join us on this journey and get the word out. The way that looks is you follow us on YouTube and Twitch; decide if you are financially able to support us each month – all we will have starting off is two tiers of $5 or $15 a month -; and then make sure to share share share. The more traffic we get to our blog, YouTube, and especially our Twitch – the most important one – the better.

Why subscribers?

We could easily start out just asking for follows and likes and such, however by subscribing it does the following:

  • Better Quality Streams/Videos: Streaming can get expensive. In order to reach more people and have a consistent flow of traffic, we need to make sure we have good lighting, good sound, and good picture quality – which all comes over time, but we need the help of others to get them  – in order to produce better quality streams and videos.
  •  New Content: Chris and I don’t want the same videos or streams each time, that can get boring real quick! So in order to keep things fresh and lively, we need the finances to be able to travel to that local mom and pop shop and try their amazing burger or get that game/book our viewers have been recommending and check it out so we can discuss it with our community.
  •  All the things: We know we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without the love and support of you, so that is why we will have giveaways and prizes for those who subscribe to our Twitch channel. When you subscribe at the various levels you will get some amazing gifts from both of us. Then every three months we will randomly choose one of our subscribers and one of our active followers to win a pretty sweet prize pack. We have so much more in store than this, but we will discuss all of that later on down the road.

If you can’t support us, we get it, we’ve been there! However, if you’re able to, and you want to partner with us to spread love and joy to others, then please reach out to us and we will discuss a plan of action.

Well, that is all for us today. Again, we appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you to those who comment, like our posts/videos, etc. and we look forward to chatting with you again soon!

Happy Trails,

Chris and Angie

WE NEED YOUR HELP

Aside

We at TNR need your help! We are currently looking for people who will sponsor us, and allow us to show off their products on our YouTube and Twitch channel!

How does that look? Well, as of right now we are looking for around 5 to 10 businesses that would be willing to allow us to use their product in our videos/stream or be willing to sponsor our videos. Here are some of the things we would like to do:

  • Play Your Game: We enjoy worker-placement, RPG, and various board/card games. If you have a game you think we would like, please feel free to contact us.
  •  Review Your Product: We enjoy things like Audiobooks, physical books, I (Angie) enjoy makeup – to an extent -, coffee and tea, we enjoy good food, local mom and pop shops, and even comics. If you want us to review your product live or on a video we want to hear from you.
  •  Products for every day/practical use: By this, we simply mean things such as everyday household items, clothes, or items people use on a regular basis – at a reasonable price.
  • Help us make better content: These are things we use to stream and help make better content for our viewers and those who join our community. This would be the equipment we use, the chairs we sit in, etc. If you think we would enjoy it, would help facilitate a better outcome for our viewers, then we want to talk to you!

Last but not least, we need others to join our community and support us financially. Whether it is five dollars – less than a cup of coffee – or more, we need a group of people who will join the Twitch fam and subscribe each month to help us reach as many people as possible and share the love and joy we hope to foster in the world around us. We will have various levels you can subscribe at, and through each one, you will be able to get the following goodies:

  • Help create content – within reason – for our YouTube and Twitch channel
  • At the end of our stream/video, we will give you a shoutout!
  • You might get to do a collab with us or we will host and highlight your own channel!
  •  Every quarter we will have a giveaway!

And these are just a few of the things we have planned for our channel. Look forward to linking arms with you on this journey!

Happy Trails,

Chris and Angie Frantz

Be on the lookout

March Reboot 1

Hey everyone, so this week’s post is going to be a bit short, but I’m itching to share something amazing that my hubs and I have going on behind the scenes. However, I can’t quite share the details with you just yet, but I can say to be on the lookout for some exciting events and such we will have planned starting in Mid March, early April. O_O I know, very elusive, right? I don’t know if you’re like me at all, but I hate surprises….this is one, however, that I promise you will like – well, I hope you’ll like -, and what I can say is, you should expect me to be writing more on here one to two times per week, and uploading stuff on our other social platforms like YouTube and Instagram. That is all I can say for now, but I hope you will pray that God will direct our steps and help us as we step into this new leg of our journey. I look forward to sharing more with y’all! As always, please make sure to subscribe to the blog, head on over to our other social platforms on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube and follow us there, and then finally make sure to share with your friends so we can grow our little community and share this fun adventure with the world! ^_^

Happy Trails,
